Abstract

A dispensing device comprising an infusion chamber, an infuser cylinder in constant communication with said chamber and having an inlet port for hot water, a dispensing piston reciprocable in said cylinder for controlling said port and for forcing hot water outwardly through said infusion chamber, a hydraulic cylinder containing a piston connected to said dispensing piston for acuating the latter, and flow means for selectively conducting cold water into and out of said hydraulic cylinder to actuate the psiton therein, said flow means being thermally connected with said dispensing cylinder for the purpose of cooling the latter. The flow means aforesaid preferably include a plurality of valves respectively operable by cams on a common rotary shaft.
