In laboratory glassware or other apparatus e.g. cocks, manometers, U tubes, which comprise a glass tube containing a liquid connected at its ends by a rubber or other flexible tube, the glass tube is embedded in a hard resin which is preferably transparent. The resin block may have metal supports embedded therein, or may have threaded holes, or projections for attaching to supports.
