Class 28(1) [Also in Group XV] A stick 62 which may be used for carrying edible confection 62a such as ice cream, has pairs of notches 71, 72 and 74, 75 in opposite edges by means of which it can be fitted with other identical sticks to form toy structures, there being transverse weakened lines of severance 63, 64, 65, 66 between pairs of notches to allow the stick to be broken into pieces. The width of the notches 71, 72 equals the thickness of the stick whereas the width of the notches 74, 75 is double the stick thickness, Fig. 5, and will accommodate the width of a stick between its notches, Fig. 6, pips 74a, 75a, Fig. 1, permitting the double width notches to be used in the same way as single width notches. In an alternative embodiment, Fig. 14, the periphery 90 of a stick is of greater thickness and has nibs 86a and 87a to interlock with another similar stick or fit more tightly with a stick 62. The sticks may be of wood, laminate paper or plastic and, despite the weakened lines of severance, can be deformed into curves without breakage.
