845,955. Roller bearings. SCHAFER, G., and SCHAFER, O., [trading as KUGELFISCHER G. SCHAFER & CO.]. Dec. 1, 1958 [Dec. 2, 1957], No. 38592/58. Addition to 814,239. Class 12 (1). In the two-piece bearing-cage, for the rollers of roller-bearings described in the parent Specification, comprising a carrier member 1 and a sheet-metal guide-member 2, the guide-member 2 is in the form of an endless cylindrical sleeve. The guide member may be produced from tubular material, from flat strip rolled into an annular shape and welded &c., or by a drawing process. Preferably the carrier 1 and the guide 2 are jointed together by a thin wire 6 of brazing or soldering material, the cage being inserted into a furnace until capillary action has taken place over the contacting area.
