Abstract

A gas storage cylinder is provided with a label for carrying a bar code. The label is in the form of a surface carrying the bar code and adjacent the surface is a wall to act as a guide for a light pen. The wall is an edge of a depression formed on the cylinder in one arrangement and the wall extends around the label. <IMAGE>
