Abstract

838,063. Photographic apparatus. MICROPRECISION PRODUCTS Ltd. Feb. 21, 1957 [Feb. 22, 1956], No. 5474/56. Class 98(1) An anti-reflection member, particularly for forming parts of a photographic camera, consists of a sheet slit along a series of substantially parallel straight lines to form a plurality of slats bent up from the plane of the sheet to form a series of non-coplanar surfaces so that when the sheet is arranged with the edges of the slats facing the incident light, light falling on one of the slats is deflected therefrom into one of the slots. As shown four planar members are joined at the edges to form a body of rectangular section disposed between the lens 11 and focal plane 12 of photographic camera. Light rays such as 15 and 16 from the lens which fall upon the members are deflected by slats 26 into the slots between them and so prevented from reaching the focal plane 12.
