Abstract

In the present Specification the drain tank (see Group I) of the parent Specification is chosen to be of volume only slightly greater than the volume of unfiltered liquid normally present in the filter casing of a filter unit, and the air vent pipe at the top of the drain tank is provided with a valve which may be closed by a float (see Group I).
