834,176. Tablet cases. MARTENS, P. VON. May 14, 1958 [May 14, 1957], No. 15421/58. Class 18. A tablet case of the kind holding tablets in a fixed position comprises two channel members 1 and 2, which are longitudinally slidable relative to each other to open and close the case, and a separate tablet support 3 longitudinally movable within the case so that on sliding the member 2 to the left relative to member 1 the support 3 is advanced step-wise towards the end-piece 4 by a guide element 7, co-operating with wave formations in the bottom of a longitudinal groove 6 in the member 2, and prevented from returning to the right by a pawl element 9 co-operating with notches in groove 8 in member 1. The tablet case may have detachable end walls. The side of the support 3 abutting the tablets may be curved according to the shape of the tablets.
