Abstract

834,060. Road traffic signals. BARDELL, E. N. Sept. 29, 1958 [June 28, 1957], No. 20435/57. Class 118 (2). [Also in Group XI] A lamp assembly consisting of a lamp holder having a transparent cover 11 and formed with the spigot 2 is mounted in the tubular handlebars of a vehicle. A shield 14 having cut-away portions for the emergence of light may be secured over the cover, e.g. by screwing, and serves to hold this in position and protect it from damage. The electric lead 10 to the lamp may pass down the interior of the handle-bar. The lamp may be used as a flashing direction indicator or as a parking light.
