832,685. Shaped charge perforating apparatus. SOC. DE PROSPECTION ELECTRIQUE PROCEDES SCHLUMBERGER. June 6, 1956 [June 10, 1955], No. 17540/56. Class 9(1) In apparatus, such as is described in Specification 698,225, the shaped charges 5 are provided with lines 6 comprising two superimposed cones, the inner cone 10 being of a ductile dense metal, e.g. copper and the outer cone 9 of a readily vaporizable metal such as zinc. The lines may be formed by deep-drawing a cone of copper and spraying molten zinc on this cone while held on a rotatable mounting.
