830,125. Teeth cleaning appliances. BARMAR PRODUCTS CORPORATION. Sept. 18, 1958, No. 29928/58. Class 81 (2). In a dental floss holder a spool of floss is retained in a recess in the handle by means of a channel-shaped cover. The handle 10, Fig. 3, has a longitudinal recess 18 in which the spool 22 is retained by a trough-like cover 24, itself held in position by a projection 26 at each side passing through slots in the handle. The floss 36, Fig. 1, passes out through an aperture in the end wall of the cover, around a stud 16 and then over projecting arms 14, 14, after which it is passed back around the stud 16 again, to secure it. The cover may carry a knife edge 42 for cutting off used floss.
