Abstract
829,615. Animal holding appliances. SCOTT, W. D., GAFFNEY, J. W., and BICKFORD, A. M. July 24, 1958, No. 23831/58. Class 81 (2). An animal cradle comprises a trough 1, rails 5, 6 on the sides of the trough, straps 7 slidably attached to the rail 5 and passing over the trough and between the trough and the other rail 6, means to tauten the straps and means to hold the straps when tautened. The trough has end plates 3 which have flanges 4 for supporting the trough on a table or base. Each strap has a stirrup 8 at one end so that it may be tautened by the operator's foot. Levers 9 pivoted on the other rail 6 are used to jamb the tautened straps against the side of the trough.
