Abstract

826,238. Phase-shifters. COMPAGNIE GENERALE DE TELEGRAPHIE SANS FIL. March 16, 1956 [March 17, 1955], No. 8388/56. Class 40 (8). [Also in Group XL (c)] In a radio direction-finder (see Group XL (c)) which includes two transmission lines comprising two metal strips 3, 4 supported by an insulating plate 21 spaced from an earthed metal plate 5, the phase difference between the signals applied to the transmission lines is varied cyclically by a circular or elliptical dielectric disc 6 positioned between the plates 5, 21 and eccentrically mounted on a shaft 7 driven by a motor 18.
