Abstract

A dentifrice comprises at least 50% by weight of casein, preferably rennin casein. The major part of the remainder may be lactose. Vitamin D and calcium phosphate may be present. The composition may be prepared in the form of a paste, powder, tablet or troche. A preservative such as a fluoride or borate, e.g. sodium borate, may be added. The binder may be gelatin or gum acacia.
