Abstract
824,179. Testing physical qualities of materials. PROCHAZKA, M. March 23, 1956 [March 29, 1955], No. 9124/56. Class 106 (2). An electromagnetic vibrator comprises a core formed by a row of columns interconnected by a yoke on one side to form a comb, each column or alternatively alternate columns being provided with at least one coil. The coils may be wound only at the yoke ends of the columns and are preferably series-connected and the pole shoes 12, Fig. 5, may be bevelled to correspond with the average slope of turbine blades 8, assembled on a rotor, which are to be set in vibration for testing purposes.
