Abstract

822,054. Transformers. HACKBRIDGE & HEWITTIC ELECTRIC CO. Ltd., and SIMPSON, H. Sept. 25, 1957 [Oct. 12, 1956], No. 31105/56. Class 38 (2). Transformer windings 10, 11 are separated by cooling ducts 12 formed by spacers 13 comprising porcelain beads 14 having a trapezoidal cross-section (Fig. 4) threaded on a strip 15 of silicone bonded glass laminµ. The cross-section of the beads may alternatively be circular or rectangular, and their length may be that of the axial length of the transformer disc coils.
