820,410. Bending glass sheets. PITTSBURGH PLATE GLASS CO. Aug. 16, 1956 [Aug. 18, 1955], No. 25067/56. Class 56. In the bending simultaneously of two glass sheets for laminated wrap-around windshields having two sharply bent side wings and the top of the centre portion between the wings bent transversely, the sheets are pre-cut to very slightly different sizes, where necessary, to compensate for the slight misalignment at the edges, after bending, that otherwise occurs when two identically shaped sheets are bent together. The Fig. shows the slight differences at 12, 121 and 20, 20<SP>1</SP>. Particular dimensions are quoted.
