Means for truncating one or more teeth 2 of a saw comprises a support for the saw 1, a reference stop for determining successive positions of the saw, and a grinding wheel 3 pivotally mounted above the operative path of the saw in such a manner that the wheel can be swung so that it effects the truncation of the teeth.
