Abstract

816,895. Constructional toy buildings. FREEDER, P. Oct. 15, 1957 [Aug. 15, 1957], No. 25771/57. Class 132(3) The elements of a constructional toy castle are, when dis-assembled, accommodated in a box 1 which is used as a foundation for the castle, the lid 2 being swung to the open position shown to support a ramp 21 which abuts a side wall of 'the box, and to receive side strut members 22 having pins 23 to engage in holes in the box. Front and rear wall units 7, 8 each have fixed turrets provided with channelled strips 18 to receive the ends of side walls 17, and spigot pins 6 engage in holes 5 in the box 1. An archway 9 is provided with holes 11 to receive lugs 12 of a drawbridge 13. Alternative means for securing the side walls comprise threaded pins screwed into the turrets and receiving wing nuts which engage the slotted ends of the side walls, Fig. 2 (not shown).
