Class 39(3) [Also in Group X] An electrically heated floor comprises wood blocks 1 provided with grooves 2, 3 in their undersurfaces forming continuous parallel channels for receiving heating cables 7, 8. The blocks are secured by mastic to a supporting deck or to an optional intermediate layer of fibre glass, vermiculite or other heat-insulating material, and the heating cables are threaded through the channels from the edges of the floor. The cables may be glass braided PVC insulated cables operating at a temperature of 110‹F.
