Class 29 [Also in Group XXV] The ice making compartment 5 of a refrigerator is closed by a horizontally pivoted door 6 having a cam surface 8 on which bears a lever 12 secured to the refrigerated shelf 2, an ice tray being placed in the compartment so that the end rests on the lever. On opening the door the cam surface raises the lever and thus the tray, breaking the ice bond between the tray and shelf.
