805,961. Building-panels. SECO, Ltd. May 13, 1955, No. 13846/55. Class 87(1) A ceiling slab 1 has projections on one face which can be connected to the supporting structural member. The slab may have parallel ribs 2 provided with tubes 3 projecting at each end beyond the ribs, the slab being secured by hooks, clips &c. depending ,from the structural support member and engaging the tubes 3. The slab may be bevel edged and may be made by pouring plastic material which hardens, into an open-topped mould, rolling vegetable film material into the material by a ribbed roller to pack the firbe more closely at the slab edges, applying precast ribs incorporating the tubes 3, and bonding the ribs and slab by a strip of plaster impregnated textile material 8, Fig. 3.
