[Also in Group VI] A cleaning or massaging device comprises a rigid or semi-rigid container having projecting therefrom sponge material, the rear face of the sponge being unsupported and spaced from the rear face of the container to form a storage chamber for a liquid or creamy agent, the arrangement being such that when the sponge is pressed towards the rear face the agent is forced from the storage chamber into the sponge. In the Figure a circular container 4 houses a sponge 5 having its edge sealed by an impervious strip 6. The liquid or creamy agent is inserted into the space between the back of the sponge and the container through an aperture closed by a screw cap 10. An outer cap 11 is also provided. It is stated that a rigid handle may be provided and that it may be in the form of a tube through which the liquid or creamy agent could be passed to the storage chamber.
