801,079. Batteries. PRITCHETT & GOLD & E.P.S. CO., Ltd. Dec. 9, 1955 [Dec. 31, 1954], No. 37767/54. Class 53. In a storage battery having a monobloc container the partitions a between the cells include detachable top panels f through which the intercell connectors e pass. Each panel f is moulded about the intercell connector and is formed to fit within U-shaped grooves in the partitions a. Side plates #<SP>1</SP>, #<SP>2</SP> which overlap the edges of the groove are also formed on the panel. The connector h to the terminal g also passes through a detachable panel i in the container end. The panels are preferably of polystyrene and cemented in position. Specification 662,604 is referred to.
