Abstract

795,474. Tables &c. COSADINOS, J. D. Aug. 9, 1956 [June 7, 1955], No. 16264/55. Class 52(3) A writing table for use on the steering wheel 4 of a motor vehicle has a rectangular frame consisting of rails 1, 2, 3, to the top rail 1 of which is hinged a board 8 having an upstanding ledge 9, the frame being held to the wheel 4 by straps or spring clips and located by studs. A toggle linkage 10 between frame and board and 'having a friction clamp at the centre pivot provides adjustment of inclination of the board. In a modification the frame is triangular and the angular adjustment is by a slotted strip and clamping screw.
