Abstract

795,300. Fire-irons. ROSSITER, F. E. Jan. 31, 1957, No. 3412/57. Class 126 A combined poker and stand comprises a rod 1, Figs. 1, 2, on which slides a body 6 to which is secured a stand plate 10. The poker and stand are locked in the rest position by a spring-loaded ball catch 5 engaging in a recess in the body. To lock the parts in an operative position, in which the plate functions as a hand shield, a bayonet joint, is provided between the rod and the body.
