Abstract

A method of providing readily removable printed labels on collapsible metal tubes comprises coating the tube or part thereof with a varnish, e.g. a vinyl resin varnish, which has a relatively poor adhesion to the tube surface and applying a coating of tube enamel over the varnish to provide a surface suitable for printing on but easily removable where the varnish is beneath it.
