A laminated material for use in marquetry, inlaying, and applique work comprises a veneer coated on one side with adhesive which is covered with a removable protective sheet such as oiled, greased, or resin paper. In use the coated and protected veneer is cut to size, the protective sheet is removed, and the adhesive surface pressed on to the receiving surface.
