790,758. Hand knitting. TOPPERS OF NORTHAMPTON, Ltd. Jan. 12, 1956 [Jan. 20, 1955], No. 1767/55. Class 74 (2). [Also in Group XIX] A mainly cylindrical member is adapted to fit within a number registering device, comprising numeral drums 2, 3 rotatable in a casing 1, and is formed integrally with means for releasably gripping a rod. The device is particularly for use in registering the number of rows of stitches in knitting. The member, which may be formed from a sheet metal stamping, is resilient and has at each end three converging fingers 12 for gripping a knitting needle, and three further fingers having tongues 7 to retain the drums 2, 3 in position. A projection 10 of the member engages a keyway 11 in the casing. Specification 790,757 is referred to.
