Class 98(1) In a reflex camera having a film covering plate, and a built-in objective shutter which has an additional opening arrangement for view-finding by means of the mirror and ground glass screen, an electrical flashlamp contact device, and rotatably mounted shutter blades moved to open and closed positions by the oscillation of a blade-drive ring, a member of the bladedrive mechanism has an arm projecting out of the shutter housing to serve as an actuating member to open the shutter for view-finding. As shown, the setting arm 4 is moved clockwise to tension the spring 5 connected to the control ring 3. Release of the ring 3 and arm 4 permits the lever 6 to strike the end 11 of the transmission lever 9 and pivot it counter-clockwise to drive the blade ring 2 clockwise by the pin-and-slot connection 22, 13 and open the shutter. The lever 16 urged clockwise by the spring 21 is permitted to turn due to the movement of the pin 14 and to contact the bolt in the flash-lamp circuit. When the control curve 8 on an extension of the arm 4 strikes the end 11, the lever 9 is turned clockwise to drive the blade ring counter-clockwise to close the shutter and to move the lever 16 out of contact with the bolt 17. Manual operation of the arm 15 of the lever 9 effects direct actuation of the blade ring 2 to open the shutter. and, although the lever 16 again contacts the bolt 17, the contacts 23, 24 have previously been opened by the automatic movement of the mirror 25 to view-finding position and the flash-bulb is not fired.
