The tumbler switch of the parent Specification is modified by mounting the fixed contacts resiliently. As shown, the fixed contacts comprise caps 15 mounted on springy wires 12 secured in recesses 9 in terminal pins 5, an insulating spacer sleeve 29 preventing contact or arcing between the contacts 5 and the casing 1. In addition to the cores 43 a resilient dielectric annulus 44 prevents access of dirt or moisture to the contacts.
