Abstract

785,944. Display stands; brackets. HOYLE, G. May 10, 1956 [May 11, 1955], No. 13629/55. Classes 52(3) and 52(5) A display stand consists of uprights A rearwardly inclined and supported on a base 1, which may be wheeled, and shelves 6 extending forwardly of the uprights, having parts or portions through which the uprights pass and held in an adjustable position by the pressure due to the cantilever suspension of the shelves. In an embodiment at the rear edge of each shelf are U- shaped members 10 through which the uprights A pass, pressures at B and C retaining the shelf in position. A1- ternative arrangements are shown in Figs. 4 and 5. In uprights A may be formed from short sections 3 joined together end to end by spigot and socket connections.
