In a date calculator, comprising concentric rotatable scales, one for the 365 days of the year and the other for the days month by month, the graduation markings on each scale discs 1 and 2 extend radially in groups from the vicinity of the periphery 3 of the smaller disc 1, with the graduations of a group successively shorter in order to allow the numeral markings of the graduations to be arranged in concentric annular zones for easy reading. As shown, the larger disc 2 bears the day scale and is recessed to accommodate the smaller disc 1 bearing the monthly scale.
