Abstract

782,709. Covers for carboys. WEARS, W. J. June 4, 1956 [June 2, 1955], No. 15803/55. Class 94(1). A plastic cover 1 for a crated carboy has a central hole 2 for the neck of the carboy and spaced holes 5 or welded tabs around its periphery for securing it to the carboy crate, the cover being of sufficient size to reach the wall of the crate below the rim thereof. The hole 2 is reinforced by at least one and preferably two washers of plastic sheeting welded in position. The sheet may be of polyvinyl chloride.
