Class 19 [Also in Group XXVIII] A body 1 for a suction cleaner brush or polisher has a tuft-sealing surround 2 of which the lower portion 3 has a crosssection that is reduced along one or more lines of separation 6 disposed one above the other so that the lowest portion 8 of said surround may be torn off along the lowest line of separation as the bristles 4 or pad wears. Slots 9 may be provided in the reduced sections of the surround, which may encircle or may be encircled by the bristles or pad.
