778,388. Luminescent materials. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO., Ltd. April 22, 1955 [March 19, 1954], No. 8144/54. Class 39(1). Red-luminescent magnesium fluoro-zircano germanate activated by manganese is prepared by firing a mixture of germanium oxide and zirconium oxide containing between 0À01 and 0À50 mols ZrO2 with magnesium oxide 2-6 mols, magnesium fluoride 0À25-1À5 mols and a compound of manganese 0À001-0À1 mols. Specification 721,993 is referred to.
