Abstract

775,408. Insulators. TRIGGS, W. W. (Rosenthal-Isolatoren Ges.). Aug. 15, 1955, No. 23405/55. Class 36. A conductor 3 is secured in a central groove 2 in the head of an insulator 1 by a fixing rope 4 secured to the conductor by clamps 6 and passing through an aperture 5 in the insulator lying below and parallel to the groove 2. The fixing rope lies parallel to the conductor along its length, the thickness of the porcelain wall between the groove 2 and aperture 5 being equal to the spacing between the conductor 3 and rope 4 in the clamps 6.
