Abstract

772,338. Filing papers. FURRER SOHNE AKT.-GES., R. July 28, 1955, No. 21882/55. Class 16. Tabs. A supporting rai and identification slider for use with suspended files 1 comprises a rail 2 having arms for gripping the top edge of the file 1, the top edge being rounded and one arm having a substantially semi-circular cross-sectiona projection 3 and a one piece slider having a saddle 4 to abut the top edge anc shanks 5, 6 to engage the arms of the rail 2, the shanl 6 having a recess formec therein to snap over the projection 3 and hold the slider against movement except in the longitudina direction of the rail 2, and a holder 7 to receive a labelling strip. The slider is preferably of transparent material and the holder 7 is formed with a pocket 8 which may be completely covered back and front or have only edge strips 9, 10 at the rear to take the edges of a label, the rear wall 11 being omitted. A stud 12 is formed in the shank 6 to engage one of a number of holes 13 in the rail 2 to locate the slider.
