[Also in Group XXXIV] In cooling means for a brake drum of a vehicle, air may be drawn in through openings or slots in the outer wall of the vehicle body, possibly in the form of perforated sheets, the advantage can at the same time be achieved that the flow of air over the body conforms better to the body, due to the drawing away of the boundary layer thus effecting a reduction in the air resistance of the body.
