[Also in Group XXXIX] A unit 22 carrying electrical equipment such as a relay or relays to which ready access is required has hook-shaped projections at the end of plates 20, 21 which inter-engage hook-like portions 32 of parallel rails 16,17, and is clamped by screws 33 carrying thrust distributing blocks 18-19 mounted in a threaded carrier 23. The whole assembly which includes a handle 10 and guide rails 12 provides for the rack mounting of carrier telephone equipment. A plug or socket for external connection may be housed in the cut-out 11 and a dustproof cover may be attached at 13.
