765,371. Making shoe trees. BATEMAN, J. Aug. 3, 1955 [Sept. 20, 1954]. No. 27194/54. Class 87(2). [Also in Group VII] A shoe tree having the shape of the toes and instep is made by a mould formed in a plaster cast taken of the toes and instep. The mould may be used to shape the tree by pressing it over a covering of hardening plastic material, such as plastic wood, spread on a normal tree or on a solid or hollow core of wood, plastic, perforated sheet metal or wire. Alternatively the tree may be cast in the mould of a plastic material as described in the Provisional Specification.
