A display device of the falling leaf type comprises a circumferential series of horizontal rods 4 mounted in opposite end plates 5, 6 in a wheeled frame, resilient advertising plates 1 and motor means, such as a variablespeed electric motor 15, for rotating the cage formed by the rods in the end plates. The device may embody a resilient stop 16 and the end plates are held in position by a plate 7.
