Class 56 A glass consists of (parts by weight, per cent) W0<SP>3</SP> 35 - 81, K<SP>2</SP> 0 3 - 30 and p<SP>2</SP>0<SP>5</SP> 5 - 61. This may form the whole but up to 10 per cent of the glass may consist of V<SP>2</SP> C<SP>3</SP> and or Te O<SP>2</SP> and, in this case, up to 10 per cent may also consist of BaO and/or PbO and/or Rb<SP>2</SP>O and/or Cc<SP>2</SP>O and/or Na<SP>2</SP>O and/or ZnO.
