The shafts of rods e, which anchor the reinforcing wires C are prevented from slipping longitudinally, preferably either by being crinkled, as shown, or by connecting ties f which also maintain the proper horizontal spacing between the rods e. The rods may be either separate, or joined so as to form a U-shaped member. According to the Provisional Specification the wires c may be twisted between the rods e by short windlass rods. Specification 668,139 is referred to.
