758,932. Cabinets. BRITISH THOMSONHOUSTON CO., Ltd. Aug. 27, 1954 [Oct. 1, 1953], No. 26958/53. Class 52(1). [Also in Group XXV] The hinged door 2 of a cabinet 7 for electrical apparatus is mounted on links 3 . . . 6 and seals the cabinet by compressing between the door and the cabinet a gasket 8 making contact along the edge face X of the door and a gasket 9 making contact along the inner main face of the door adjacent its remaining sides, the linkage being such that the door is constrained to rotate about an instantaneous axis so that during the final stage of closing or initial stage of opening the edge face X and the portion of the inner face remote therefrom have directions of movement mainly normal to their respective general planes.
