Abstract

In a method of mixing and transporting various substances which enter into chemical reaction resulting in an increase in volume of the mixture, the substances are mixed and transported by means of screw conveyer the capacity of which is increased from the inlet to the outlet by increasing continuously or in stages the pitch of the screw when it has a constant diameter or by increasing continuously or in stages the diameter of the screw when it has a constant pitch.ALSO:In a method of mixing and transporting various substances which enter into a chemical reaction resulting in an increase in volume of the mixture, the substances are mixed and transported by means of a screw conveyer the capacity of which is increased from the inlet to the outlet by increasing continuously or in stages the pitch of the screw when it has a constant diameter or by increasing continuously or in stages the diameter of the screw when it has a constant pitch.
