Abstract

754,696. Retaining bedclothes. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO. Nov. 26, 1954 [Dec. 21, 1953], No. 34372/54. Class 52(2). [Also in Group IX] A bed cover is secured to a mattress by an end pocket formed by sewing the ends 13 of side flaps 7 to the ends 15 of a deeper end flap 8 which terminates in a band 9 of less width than the mattress whereby parts 18 of the side flaps are drawn underneath when the end flap is tucked under the mattress. In use the band 9 is displaced as shown at 21 the resultant slackness providing clearance space for the user's feet at the mattress face.
