748,152. Wave-guides. MIDDLESEX GUN CO., Ltd. Oct. 20, 1954 [July 21, 1953], No. 20176/53. Class 40 (8). [Also in Group XXII] A transition piece 3 for a flexible metallic wave-guide 5 has a passage 1 of rectangular cross-section each corner of which at the end adjacent the wave-guide has a radius of approximately 0.125 inch to correspond with the crosssectional shape of the wave-guide passage. At the other end of the transition piece each corner of the-passage has a radius of approximately 0.010 inch and the transition of radius is effected gradually from one end of the piece to the other. The transition piece has an annular projection 7 adapted to fit over the flexible wave-guide and to be retained by a rubber covering 9.
