Abstract

746,211. Bird cages. DARRIEULAT, F. April 29, 1954, No. 12428/54. Class 5 (2). A bird cage is provided with a panel 9 hingedly attached to the cage for movement outwardly to form a take-off and landing platform. The panel is retained in a horizontal position by means of chains 11, 12 or struts arranged to act between the panel and a lower part of the cage. The panel is locked in closed position by means of slidable sleeves 13, 14 which engage on rod ends 15, 16. A slidable tray 5 is provided and corner-pieces 6 serve to retain glass panels 7, 8. A small hand-access panel 17 is provided in the rear wall of the cage.
