[Also in Group X] A structural unit for a vehicle wall or floor comprises a main component 1 having an uninterrupted upper surface 2 and a gapped lower surface 3 and a complementary component 8 having upstanding parts 12 which form reinforcements between the upper and lower surfaces of the main component. Tongue and groove connections are preferably arranged between adjacent components and the marginal edges of the lower surface 3 are clamped on to the bearer 17 by the complementary component.
